The Sherman Shipwreck
Myrtle Beach, SC
I recently went scuba diving at the Sherman shipwreck off the coast of North Carolina. The Sherman was intentionally sunk to create an artificial reef, and it was amazing to see how much marine life it has attracted over the years. As we descended into the water, we saw schools of colorful fish swimming around the wreck. We explored the ship, swimming through dark corridors and past rusted metal walls. We spotted all sorts of sea creatures, from barracudas lurking in the shadows to sea urchins clinging to the sides of the ship. The experience was truly awe-inspiring, and I felt grateful for the chance to witness such a beautiful underwater world. It's amazing how nature has reclaimed this ship and made it a home for so many creatures. Overall, scuba diving at the Sherman shipwreck was an unforgettable adventure. The marine life was incredible, and I hope to go back and explore even more of what North Carolina's coast has to offer.

Wolfjaw Mountain

In April 2020, I went hiking with my friend Adam Malachowshi at Upper and Lower Wolfjaw Peaks in the Adirondack Park, Keene Valley, NY. We both studied physics together at Geneseo. The weather conditions during our hike were slightly windy and snowy. I decided to test my drone during the hike and the flight was successful. We had to face some challenging sections of the trail where we had to scramble over rocks and boulders. However, the stunning views of snow-capped peaks and valleys made it worth the effort. I captured some aerial footage using my drone when we reached the summit of Upper Wolfjaw Peak. Despite the windy conditions, the drone held up well. As we hiked towards Lower Wolfjaw Peak, the snow got deeper, which made the hike more challenging. However, we persevered and reached the summit. The view of snow-covered trees and mountains was magnificent. After spending some time enjoying the view, we started our descent, feeling happy and invigorated by the experience. Overall, it was an unforgettable hike!

Drone Footage
Last summer, my good friend Adam and I decided to take on the challenge of hiking Phelps and Table Top. We were both excited to tackle the mountains and capture the stunning views with his drone. As we began our ascent, the weather conditions were perfect for hiking, but the wind was relentless. Despite the gusts, Adam was determined to fly his drone and capture some amazing footage. After several attempts, Adam finally managed to get the drone airborne. We watched in awe as it soared through the air, capturing the stunning landscape around us. However, our excitement was short-lived as moments after the video, the wind proved too strong and the drone was blown out of the sky. My heart sank as I watched it plummet towards the ground. Thankfully, the drone had a soft landing only three feet away from where I was sitting. We quickly retrieved it and checked it for any damage. Thankfully, it was in perfect working order, and we continued our hike with a newfound appreciation for the unpredictable forces of nature.
